News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 3/25/2025 has positive signals
Pepper price forecast on March 25, 2025 is showing positive signs. In the short term, pepper prices may continue to move sideways or increase slightly, with an increase of VND 200 to 500/kg in some areas. This comes from two main factors: limited supply and increased export demand.
This year, the 2024-2025 pepper crop is expected to see a 3-5% drop in output due to weather impacts and shrinking cultivation areas. Many farmers are holding back their goods after pepper prices showed signs of a strong recovery in March, creating a shortage of supply in the market.
In addition, Vietnam's pepper exports in the first half of March reached more than 7,100 tons, mainly to traditional markets such as the US, India and the EU. This contributed to reducing inventories at ports and merchant warehouses, creating slight upward pressure on prices.
However, investors and pepper growers need to be cautious with signals from the world market. Factors such as inflation, exchange rate fluctuations and unexpected demand from China can affect future pepper price trends. Therefore, it is important to closely monitor the market and adjust business strategies.
