On the evening of December 20, Gia Dinh Regiment - Ho Chi Minh City Command coordinated with the University of Labor and Social Affairs, Campus II and the University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City to organize an art program with the theme "Following the tradition".
The program recreates the heroic historical journey of the Vietnam People's Army
The program aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) and the 79th anniversary of Military Region 7's Tradition Day (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2024).
The program took place in a vibrant and solemn atmosphere, with the participation of a large number of cadres, soldiers and students.
The program brings to the audience carefully staged performances. The heroic historical journey of the Vietnam People's Army is recreated through revolutionary songs, folk dances and short plays. Among them, the highlight is the choir "Song of the Soldier" performed by students of the University of Labor and Social Affairs and the play "Resistance Journey" by the University of Theater and Cinema. The program brings many lingering emotions and pride to the audience.
At the end of the program, the performance of "Song of Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces - Military Region 7, Marching Song" left a deep impression, arousing pride and solidarity in each participant.
