V-SAT is a standardized competency assessment test, organized with the aim of measuring the knowledge and skills of candidates in many different fields. Ho Chi Minh City Open University has announced official information about this exam, allowing candidates to use the results to apply to the school as well as a number of other higher education institutions.

Regarding the exam format, candidates can choose from 8 independent subjects, including: Math, Literature, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Geography. This helps them to be flexible in choosing the admission combination suitable for their desired field of study. All exams are organized on computers. Math and Literature last 90 minutes, the remaining subjects last 60 minutes.

The results of the V-SAT exam are used for admission to Ho Chi Minh City Open University and many other universities nationwide, helping candidates expand their admission opportunities. With quick results, candidates can be proactive in choosing their major and school. In addition, if they do not achieve the desired results, candidates can register to retake the exam in the next round.

The exam is designed to assess the candidate's thinking ability and knowledge, instead of just testing knowledge memorization. Ho Chi Minh City Open University is holding 4 V-SAT exam sessions in 2025, with the following registration periods: Session 1: April 12-13 (registration from March 10-30); Session 2: April 26-27 (registration from March 10-13); Session 3: May 17-18 (registration from March 10-05); Session 4: June 7-8 (registration from March 10-25). Reasonable exam fees: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, English: 130,000 VND/subject, Literature: 200,000 VND/subject.
