The 9th National STEM Festival with the theme "Vietnam, breaking through to new heights" aims to promote the spread of spirit and nurture the desire to conquer knowledge of young people.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of STEM Day 2023 on the morning of May 30 in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh said that the interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approach through STEM education is a suitable approach to improve knowledge and skills on digital transformation for young people and needs to be further promoted in the near future.
The National STEM Festival lasts from May to September, including a series of innovative activities in many localities such as STEM creativity competitions, activities to spread the spirit and share knowledge. The Deputy Minister emphasized that the form of organizing experiences for students is a key and core value, becoming a factor in nurturing the desire to conquer knowledge of the young generation.
Recalling the STEM Festival 2022, he shared that students of all ages were excited about the experiential activities, expecting that this year's activities will continue to create excitement for discovery, learning, and spreading the spirit of the STEM community across the country.

Mr. Tran Xuan Bach, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that this year's event aims to promote connecting and joining activities to promote the creation of specific results, bringing STEM into economic and social life in a more practical way.
Unlike previous events that took place in a single festival, this year's STEM Festival includes a series of STEM activities held nationwide, then ends with a large festival gathering representatives from localities and units across the three regions in September, taking place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. National STEM competitions such as rocket and robot shooting competitions; along with STEM seminars and forums. In addition, there are exhibitions and display spaces promoting STEM and experiences, challenges and local STEM activities...
The 2023 National STEM Festival (Vietnam STEM Festival) is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with relevant units, aiming to spread the community, connect society, popularize and raise social awareness of STEM education in Vietnam. First held in 2015, over the past 8 years, the STEM Festival has always attracted a large number of students, teachers, parents, researchers, experts, managers, along with the attention and support of many units related to the development of science, technology, and innovation.
