The 2023 Tourism Week is expected to take place until June 4, 2023, at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Trang An Eco-tourism Area and a number of tourist areas and spots. The opening ceremony takes place at a live stage, vividly set up in the rice fields in the Hang 2 area of ​​the Tam Coc tourist route, which is the highlight of the event.

The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An Tourism Week is an annual event held since 2018, at the right time when the rice fields are golden ripe along the Ngo Dong River. Through the program, it aims to promote and introduce the unique, attractive features and outstanding values ​​of Ninh Binh's tourism resources, especially the World Cultural and Natural Heritage - Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, focusing on activities taking place in the Tam Coc - Bich Dong area, along both sides of the Ngo Dong River, on the tourist route: Dinh Cac - Hang Ca - Hang Hai - Hang Ba to a large number of people, domestic and international tourists, contributing to stimulating tourism demand in the low season, increasing the number of visitors and revenue in tourism activities, striving to make Ninh Binh tourism a key economic sector of the province by 2030. This year's Tam Coc Golden Season has depicted the painting "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" or also known as the painting of carp playing with the moon on a poetic rice field of more than 9,500m2 . The painting "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" represents the aspiration, effort and strong will to overcome all difficulties to reach success. In particular, the image of carp is also a symbol of luck and good things.

Through the idea of ​​the painting, which is depicted using the material of rice plants, the local people pray for a year of peace and prosperity, favorable weather, and bountiful harvests. Another very important message conveyed through this painting is the wish that farmers, together with the government, participate in preserving the cultural and natural values ​​of the heritage to exploit community tourism. This is also an important basis for Ninh Binh to develop sustainable tourism.
