According to Mashable , the latest leaked information from analyst Jeff Pu has revealed that Apple is preparing a spectacular 'makeover' for the iPhone 17 series, especially in the front camera.
Apple enhances selfie capabilities for iPhone 17

If the upgrade does happen, it would be a huge step up from the 12MP camera on current iPhone models. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously said the new camera will 'significantly improve image quality', promising to bring users sharper and more detailed selfies than ever before.
Additionally, Apple could also use pixel binning technology to enhance the brightness of photos taken in low light conditions.
Apple's front camera upgrade is considered a reasonable move, especially when many Android phones are equipped with higher resolution front cameras. Typically, Xiaomi 15 Ultra with 32 MP selfie camera.
In addition to information about the front camera, Jeff Pu also revealed some other details about the iPhone 17 series. Accordingly, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be equipped with 12 GB RAM and a 48 MP telephoto camera.
However, it should be noted that these are just leaks and Apple has not made any official confirmation. Therefore, all of this information is still for reference only until the iPhone 17 series is officially launched, expected in September this year.
