On June 12, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Trach District by removing her from the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

According to information, Ms. Huong had acted dishonestly in declaring her assets and income. She was said to have been evasive, conciliatory, concealed the source of the undeclared money, and did not provide the income verification team with documents related to the ownership of the declared assets.

In addition, Ms. Huong also committed other illegal acts, negatively affecting her reputation and the reputation of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Nhon Trach District.
