Construction of Long Thanh Digital Industrial Park

NDO - By 2030, Dong Nai province will develop a sustainable digital technology industry in the area with the core being the Long Thanh Digital Technology Industrial Park. This is one of the sub-goals set by the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee in the Plan to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee set a goal of developing sustainable digital technology industry in the province by 2030 with the core being the Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park (also known as Long Thanh Digital Technology Industrial Park).

Forming a digital technology industrial ecosystem of the province with strategic technologies, including Semiconductors, data centers, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, attracting at least one leading digital technology enterprise in the world to invest and produce.

Developing data industry based on data center infrastructure, cloud computing at Long Thanh Digital Industrial Park and other areas. Attracting FDI and domestic investment in cross-border data storage, transfer and processing services at Long Thanh Digital Industrial Park.

The contribution of total factor productivity to the province's economic growth is over 60%, the proportion of high-tech exports to the total value of exported goods reaches at least 50%.

The scale of the digital economy reaches 35 to 37% of GRDP; the rate of online public service usage by people and businesses reaches over 80%.

Dong Nai allocates at least 3% of total annual budget expenditure for science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and gradually increases according to development requirements; attracts investment and builds modern, large-capacity, high-speed digital infrastructure.

Dong Nai province also sets a goal of becoming a digital industrial center by 2045 and developing into a digital center of our country and Southeast Asia with the core being the Long Thanh Digital Technology Industrial Park.

Based on the above goals, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee also proposed 7 groups of main tasks and solutions and required the entire political system to participate in organizing implementation.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited the practice area of ​​Lilama International College of Technology in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.

Since the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57 on breakthrough development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has led, directed, organized research, disseminated and implemented. Implementing Resolution 57, Dong Nai province invited experts and investors to accelerate the deployment of 5G infrastructure.

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, up to now, the whole Dong Nai province has about 3,550 mobile information transmission and reception stations, covering 100% of residential areas, hamlets, and neighborhoods, contributing to ensuring communication, serving socio-economic development and people's needs.

Regarding digital infrastructure serving administrative agencies, Dong Nai has implemented many projects with an investment cost of more than VND 1,400 billion, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in the 2023-2028 period, forming a database to ensure synchronization and connection with residential and land facilities.
