Taking us on a tour of the tourist area, Mr. Dinh Hong Phuc, Deputy Director of Pha Luong Tourism Joint Stock Company, said: A few years ago, when we heard the term OCOP, we thought it was only for local agricultural products. But after researching and receiving guidance from the authorities, we realized that the tourist area met the criteria of OCOP tourism products, such as: having local origin, having a brand, carrying cultural characteristics and local advantages. From there, we registered the profile and were certified as a 4-star OCOP tourism product.

With the motto of preserving, maintaining and developing local culture, Dai Yem Waterfall Eco-tourism Area provides local people with free stalls to provide culinary services and traditional products; organize food safety training and maintain cultural activities of the indigenous Thai people. Visitors coming here have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the colorful cultural space of ethnic minorities; enjoy traditional dishes such as buffalo jerky, cham cheo, honey, medicinal herbs and shop for traditional brocade products.

Over 60 years old, every day, Ms. Hoang Thi Not, Vat Hong residential group, Muong Sang ward still enthusiastically guides visitors to the tourist area so that they can have interesting experiences with the loom, with the shuttle and the brocade weaving stages, such as: spinning, looming, creating patterns, weaving, dyeing... of the Thai ethnic group.

Thereby, it not only helps to preserve and maintain the traditional brocade weaving craft but also creates many products such as Pieu scarves, Com shirts, handbags... with diverse designs and delicate patterns, serving tourists.

Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thu, Hanoi, shared: Coming here, I was able to immerse myself in the beautiful nature, explore and experience the traditional weaving, brocade, and knitting of the Thai ethnic group. Then, enjoying the dishes of the Northwest mountains and forests, we felt like we were immersed in the space and people here.

Tourists visit Dai Yem Waterfall Eco-tourism Area.

The highlight of the tourist area is Dai Yem waterfall with a height of more than 100m, with two parts, including a waterfall and a clear, calm stream below. The upper waterfall has 9 floors, like 9 levels of love; the lower waterfall has 5 floors; separating the two waterfalls is a carpet of grass and green moss, suitable for visitors to admire and check in. At the foot of the waterfall is a large stream, the water surface is as clear as jade, quietly blending with each reef and small cave around, bringing visitors the excitement of a mysterious and majestic scene of nature.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, a tourist from Nam Dinh city, said: I am very impressed with the beauty of Dai Yem waterfall, the space here is covered by many rows of ancient trees with strange shapes, wild, mysterious and poetic.
