Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on March 17, Ms. SALTET DE SABLET D'ESTIERES Gabrielle Charlotte Kim Hong (27 years old, French nationality, Vietnamese name Nguyen Thi Kim Hong) went to Hoa Hiep Commune Police to contact them to find her biological parents.

The documents Ms. Hong provided show that her parents are Mr. Nguyen Van Tien and Ms. Nguyen Trung Hiep (residing in Hoa Hiep commune, Xuyen Moc district). On October 29, 1998, Ms. Hiep gave birth to twin daughters, Ms. Hong and her younger sister, Nguyen Thi Kim Loan.

About a month later, due to family circumstances, her parents agreed to let a French family, Mr. and Mrs. SALTET DE SABLET D'ESTIERES, adopt both of them. After completing the legal procedures, the French couple brought Hong and her sister to France to be raised. Their passports still showed their Vietnamese names and place of birth as "Hoa Hiep".

According to Ms. Hong, her adoptive parents then took her and her sister to Hoa Hiep commune to find their family but could not find them. Recently, she and her relatives came from France to Vietnam and stayed in Ho Tram, so they wanted to find their biological parents.

Based on the information provided by Ms. Hong, Hoa Hiep Commune Police sent the information to associations, groups, grassroots units, and communes for connection. After 2 hours of verification, the police determined that Ms. Nguyen Trung Hiep had moved to live in Xuyen Moc Commune (Xuyen Moc District), and her husband had passed away many years ago.

Afterwards, the commune police invited Ms. Hiep and her family to the headquarters to meet Ms. Hong. Reunited after 27 years apart, Ms. Hong and Ms. Hiep expressed their joy and happiness and thanked the local police and other units for their help.
