This morning, February 16, the Quang Tri Association in Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting to welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025. Promoting the tradition of solidarity, sharing and mutual support of the homeland, in 2024, the Quang Tri Communities Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City gathered and united a large number of children of the homeland to participate in activities, and at the same time organized many meaningful activities.

In particular, mobilizing nearly 10 billion VND to organize activities to encourage and support Quang Tri people in Ho Chi Minh City who are facing difficulties and hardships to have more conditions to improve their lives and study. In 2025, the Quang Tri Association in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to promote its activities. In particular, it will focus on reviving the traditions of the homeland, encouraging and supporting each other so that all Quang Tri people living far from home can have a better and better life. It will turn to the homeland through many practical and effective activities, especially supporting students with difficult circumstances to strive to study, and joining hands to help eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing.

Head of the Liaison Committee of the Quang Tri Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Dao Xuan Thong, said that there are currently about 160,000 Quang Tri people living, studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Although living far from home, each person has a different job and situation, everyone always looks towards the land of Lao wind and white sand, happy with the changes of the province in recent years. The people believe that their hometown will continue to make breakthroughs in the era of national development, worthy of the expectations of the people in the province as well as the people living abroad.

Summarizing the outstanding results in 2024 and some major orientations and activities of the province in 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang affirmed that his hometown has many important premises for development, especially the practical and meaningful mechanisms and policies of the central government for the province.
