Provincial Red Cross Society received 268 units of safe blood

On the morning of August 9, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize a voluntary blood donation festival to continue providing safe blood for emergency and patient treatment.

The festival attracted a large number of volunteers to register to participate.

With the message "Donate blood - Give hope", the voluntary blood donation festival attracted the participation of nearly 300 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, employees, workers and people from different agencies, units and localities such as: Phu Ly city, Kim Bang district, Ly Nhan district, students of Ha Nam Vocational College, Ha Nam Medical College...

Volunteers were screened and had their blood tested at the festival.

In order for the blood donation festival to be successful, the organizing committee has done a good job of promoting and raising people's awareness of voluntary blood donation. Volunteers are instructed to use their chip-embedded citizen identification cards to scan QR codes, helping the blood donation process to take place more quickly. Volunteers are screened, have their blood tested and donate blood according to safe procedures.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society encouraged blood donors at the festival.

At the end of the festival, 268 units of blood were collected, contributing to supplementing blood reserves at hospitals during the summer.
