March is the ideal time for Northern mountain climbers to see flowers, especially rhododendrons. The top high mountain peaks in the North with many rhododendrons are Putaleng, Bach Moc Luong Tu, Fansipan, Ta Xua, Samu. Of which, Putaleng in Lai Chau is called "Rhododendron Paradise".
