In the bustling atmosphere of welcoming the Lunar New Year 2025, designer Vo Viet Chung launched the "Spring Painting" applied ao dai collection with the participation of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2023 Thu Uyen and Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa.
The collection includes 10 Ao Dai designs for women, featuring a unique combination of vibrant colors such as red, pink, blue, beige, black and moss green. The special feature of the collection lies in the short-sleeved shape with contrasting collar and cuffs, creating an elegant and trendy highlight.
Inspired by traditional Dong Ho paintings, the motifs on the shirt are hand-painted directly onto the fabric, combined with sophisticated hand embroidery techniques. Familiar paintings such as "Vinh hoa", "Phu quy", "Ga tro hoa hong", "Chan buffalo boi flute"... are uniquely transformed.
Regarding the material, the designer chose a combination of Japanese silk and Vietnamese silk to ensure comfort while flattering the figure of Vietnamese women.
Sharing about choosing 2 beauty queens to represent the collection, designer Vo Viet Chung said: "If Bui Quynh Hoa exudes the elegant beauty and unique charisma of Hanoi girls, Thu Uyen brings the charming, radiant and liberal beauty of a Southern girl."
