In remote schools in Tuyen Quang province, living and studying conditions of students are still very difficult. With the desire to support nutritious lunches for students, the Youth Union of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police has coordinated with organizations and kind individuals to implement the volunteer project "Step by step to school" to cook nutritious lunches for students at schools in the province.

Mr. Luong Tran Hoat, Business Development Director of Nova Group-Hanoi, Co-Project Manager, said that at this school, the delegation was told by the teachers that the majority of the students here are ethnic minority children, and the students go to school 2-3km away from the school, on winding mountain roads. Moreover, their parents are busy working in the fields until evening, so lunch is usually just white rice and a few green vegetables. Families with better conditions are given an extra egg with tomato sauce to bring to school. Some children even go hungry to go to school. The teachers sympathize with the students but can only help a little because of their difficult circumstances. After that trip, our delegation always had the thought of doing something to support the children in the highlands here to go to school, have enough to eat, and warm clothes. After only 1 month, the delegation discussed with the Youth Union of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police to jointly implement the project "Step by step to school" by calling on benefactors to support more money for lunch for students at the school so that their meals can be improved and have more nutrition. Helping parents feel secure in sending their children to school.
Ms. Thao Thi Tong, H'Mong ethnic group, Khuoi Trang village, Xuan Lap commune, Lam Binh district shared, my children died early, I raised three children alone with great difficulty and hardship. When my children go to school, the government supports them by cooking meals at school, no need to bring meals to them like in previous years, I am very happy. Now organizations and businesses are interested in giving the children more food, more delicious, more nutritious, I am very excited, very grateful to the benefactors for their support.
Teacher Ban Thi Doan, a teacher at Khuoi Trang school, said that currently, the children's lunch menu has been constantly changed and diversified, with dishes such as fried eggs, minced meat, spinach soup, etc. Just that much is enough to make the poor students in the highlands here eager to go to school.
