NDO - On the afternoon of February 22, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Son La received Official Dispatch No. 762/UBND-KGVX from the People's Committee of Son La province regarding inspection, handling, and reporting according to information reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper about a series of clinics and medical treatment facilities operating without a license.
The content of Official Dispatch No. 762/UBND-KGVX clearly states: Previously, at 6:18 p.m. on February 21, Nhan Dan Newspaper published an article: " Many unlicensed clinics in Son La are still operating openly ", reflecting that there are unlicensed clinics that have been operating openly for a long time.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province directed and requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Health and relevant agencies and units to urgently inspect private medical examination and treatment facilities; beauty salons... that advertise and introduce medical treatment without proper practice licenses, operating licenses... in the area under their management in accordance with the provisions of law.

In case of violations, it is required to strictly handle them according to the provisions of law; report the inspection results, propose solutions, and send them to the Department of Health for synthesis before March 8, 2025 to report to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province also requested the Department of Health, relevant agencies and units to urgently coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to inspect the contents as required in Official Dispatch No. 762/UBND-KGVX.
Assign the Department of Health of Son La province to synthesize reports from the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, draft a document of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the rectification of private medical examination and treatment activities in the province, to be completed before March 13, 2025.
