Dong Thap: Nearly 50 products had their OCOP product certificates revoked

On December 21, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province announced that it had issued a decision to revoke the OCOP product certificates for 47 products (including 44 3-star products and 3 4-star products) of 27 entities.

According to the provisions of Decision No. 148/QD-TTg dated August 20, 2019 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP, it is stipulated that the Certificate for OCOP products achieving from 3 to 5 stars is valid for 36 months from the date of issuance by the competent authority.

Of the 47 products (granted OCOP certification in 2021), 41 products did not participate in the assessment according to the 36-month period and 6 products participating in the re-assessment did not meet the mandatory criteria of 3-star OCOP products according to Decision No. 148/QD-TTg dated February 23, 2023 of the Prime Minister.
