Doctor Nam Anh shared that in the past few days, he often read articles in the program "Tiep suc den truong" , with many lives that were too difficult but highlighted the will to overcome difficulties of new students in many places across the country.
“I was so moved, sitting at the airport reading the newspaper I wanted to cry,” Dr. Nam Anh confided. He said that after returning from his business trip, he quickly sent 50 million VND to help the children.
Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh was also a poor student with excellent academic performance at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. After being admitted to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, he also spent his student years staying at a relative's house, working part-time and relying on the school's scholarship to pursue the medical program, graduating as a resident physician in orthopedics.
He is the founder and works in many orthopedic trauma departments in many hospitals. In the past, he and his like-minded comrades have also supported many cases of poor patients who cannot pay hospital fees.
“For a long time, I only focused on patients, but reading Tuoi Tre newspaper, I realized that poor, studious new university students are truly worthy of respect and support from society,” said Dr. Nam Anh.
According to the doctor, the amount of money he donated to the children is just a drop in the ocean, but it can encourage their will and belief so that they understand that if they have the will to overcome difficulties and a spirit of learning, many people will reach out to help, not letting them slip away and stumble in pessimism or go astray.
“I support them because I like their determination and efforts. I support them as much as I can. Most of all, I want to spread good things in society,” said Dr. Nam Anh.
