The seminar aims to strengthen propaganda work so that people understand and use correctly pesticides, veterinary drugs and additives according to regulations of the agricultural and health sectors and recommendations of manufacturers...
Nowadays, safe agricultural products are an urgent and inevitable need of the people. In recent times, farmers have abused chemical pesticides, inorganic fertilizers, preservatives, growth stimulants, etc. in agricultural production, cultivation and animal husbandry at an alarming rate.
In addition, many containers of agricultural and livestock products exceeding the food safety thresholds prescribed by major economies in the world have been returned. This causes businesses to lose money, effort, reputation, and in many cases, even affects the position of Vietnamese goods. Not only that, it also leads to the risk of food insecurity, affects the health of consumers, causes environmental pollution, soil degradation, especially the drug resistance of harmful organisms...
Pesticides, preservatives, growth stimulants... if used in the right dosage, at the right time, and in the right way will develop agricultural production more effectively.
The seminar provided official information about violating units, unfair competition, and illegal profits as a warning bell for farmers.
The seminar was attended by state management agencies in this field, media agencies, experts, and reputable businesses in the field of agricultural production.
Here, delegates will provide practical information on food safety and hygiene in current agricultural production, difficulties and obstacles in implementation, and solutions to develop sustainable agricultural production, meeting food safety requirements and criteria of many demanding international markets.
