The Hanoi Semiconductor Industry Connection, Investment Promotion and Trade Festival 2024 has a scale of 2,000 - 2,500 m2 with about 60 booths attracting dozens of semiconductor industry enterprises.
Here, units will display products and technology solutions; connect, promote investment, trade, and cooperate in business. During the event, HPA will coordinate with VINASA, Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board, to organize the Hanoi Semiconductor Industry Development and Investment Connection Conference 2024. At the same time, organize trade, establish the semiconductor industry ecosystem in Hanoi, Vietnam and products of the semiconductor industry, high technology, and future technology.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, HPA Director Nguyen Anh Duong said that the event was organized to provide information on the development situation, orientation and solutions to promote the development and cooperation of semiconductor technology enterprises in Hanoi.
At the same time, connecting, promoting investment and trade in the semiconductor industry, through which state management agencies can propose appropriate policies to develop high-quality human resources. At the same time, creating conditions to attract investors in the semiconductor sector, aiming to establish semiconductor research and manufacturing centers and provide manufacturing services for the domestic and foreign semiconductor industry.
Information from HPA shows that in recent times, Hanoi has continuously improved the investment and business environment, actively reviewed, simplified and accelerated the time to receive and process administrative procedures, creating convenience and reducing costs for people, organizations, and businesses... At the same time, it has issued and implemented policies to support businesses, organized many investment promotion activities, and held dialogues to remove many difficulties and obstacles for businesses in the production and business process.
This activity contributes to improving the investment environment and enhancing the provincial competitiveness of Hanoi, thereby attracting 1.165 billion USD in foreign investment in the first 6 months of 2024. Specifically, 120 new projects were registered with a capital of 1.036 billion USD; 78 projects were added with an additional capital of 55 million USD; 104 foreign investors contributed capital and purchased shares with a value of 74 million USD.
