DNVN - The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 is an important trade promotion activity, helping domestic and foreign businesses promote products, connect and cooperate; expand markets and cooperate in investment.
Sharing at the Press Conference of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha said that coffee is an agricultural product that plays a very important role in socio-economic life, providing a source of livelihood for people, especially people in the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak province in particular.
Buon Ma Thuot is known as the “Coffee Capital of Vietnam”, with the largest coffee growing area and output in the country, with an area of about 210,000 hectares. The annual coffee harvest reaches more than 520,000 tons, accounting for more than 30% of the national output.
The province's coffee has been exported to hundreds of countries and territories around the world, always playing an important role in socio-economic development. Through 8 times of organization, Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has become a prominent event of the Vietnamese coffee industry, having a great influence and leaving a good impression on the people, domestic and international tourists.
Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha shared at the Press Conference of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025.
“Inheriting the success of the previous 8 times, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province in coordination with central ministries and branches continues to organize the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee".
The festival takes place from March 9-13 with official activities and some festival response activities of localities," said Mr. Ha.
Also according to the Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will have new highlights such as: Digital content creation contest to promote the festival on the internet environment; Groundbreaking ceremony of Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory; "Accompanying and sharing" coffee camp at the historical - cultural relic site of CADA Plantation, Krong Pac district.
In addition, the Festival Organizing Committee focuses on multimedia communication and promotion, focusing on communication mainly through reputable social networking sites and accounts with high interaction. Contributing to promoting the cultural beauty imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands of Dak Lak to a large number of domestic and international tourists.

The festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).
