On the morning of September 21, the Hanoi People's Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate and put up a sign for the Hanoi Children's Palace. This is a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The project is built in the CV1 Park and Lake Area (Nam Tu Liem District) with items such as: 800-seat theater, 3D - 4D cinema (200 seats), 500-seat gymnasium, 10-lane swimming pool, classrooms and library, astronomy tower and administrative - office block.

The Hanoi Children's Palace project has a total investment of more than 1,300 billion VND, and was started on November 19, 2021. The project was completed and put into use with the goal of creating a cultural and sports center for children in the capital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that in recent years, the city has always paid attention to allocating land and resources to build cultural and sports facilities to meet the physical and mental development needs of people, teenagers and children.

To date, the city has nearly 400 cultural and sports facilities. Of which, 30 districts and towns have Cultural Information and Sports Centers. The system of cultural and sports facilities at all levels is being focused on investment and development in both quality and scale.

According to the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, with a new look and modern, spacious architecture close to nature, the Hanoi Children's Palace will meet the needs of living, studying, playing, competing in sports and physical training for children. Thereby creating a favorable environment to nurture and develop future talents for the city.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that the Management Board of Hanoi Children's Palace continue to innovate, make breakthroughs in quality, meet social needs, contribute to comprehensive education for the young generations of the capital, and be worthy of being "a place to help children's dreams fly far".
