According to the draft Feasibility Study Report, the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035 is implemented to create a strong and comprehensive change in cultural development and to build and perfect the personality, ethical standards, identity, bravery, and value system of Vietnamese people and families; improve the spiritual life, access to and enjoyment of culture, the need for exercise and entertainment of the people, narrow the gap in cultural enjoyment between regions, areas, social classes, and genders, thereby improving labor productivity and work efficiency; mobilize the participation of organizations, individuals and communities in managing, protecting and promoting the value of the nation's cultural heritage; build a professional, high-quality cultural and artistic human resource with political bravery to serve domestic needs and aim to meet foreign markets...

In terms of scope, the Program is implemented nationwide and in a number of countries that have long-term cultural relations and cultural interactions with Vietnam. The Program focuses on activities in specific cultural and artistic fields including: Cultural heritage; grassroots culture; performing arts; literature; fine arts, photography and exhibitions; cinema; libraries; cultural education; training; ethnic culture; cultural industry... The Program consists of 10 component projects.

At the Workshop, delegates from ministries, branches, localities and experts focused on discussing, recommending and proposing contents on allocating investment resources, criteria, allocation norms and counterpart capital ratios of local budgets to implement the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035; specific mechanisms, policies, coordination and management mechanisms for the effective implementation of the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035; solutions to build a cultural environment, build and perfect the system of grassroots cultural institutions; work to protect and promote the values ​​of national cultural heritage...

Speaking at the workshop, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the delegates. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to collect opinions to complete the draft Feasibility Study Report of the National Target Program on Cultural Development, period 2025 - 2035, to submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and comments in May 2025./.
