Based on the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today.
Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 710 VND/liter, the selling price is 22,830 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 650 VND/liter, the selling price is 23,910 VND/liter.
Diesel price increased by 660 VND/liter, selling price is 21,360 VND/liter.
In this management period, the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade only allocated 300 VND/kg for fuel oil to the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund. The management agency did not allocate nor spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all other types of petroleum.
Regarding the petroleum business, the Government Office has just issued a document announcing the Prime Minister's conclusion at the Conference of the Prime Minister working with the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises and 19 economic groups and state-owned corporations.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to innovate the mechanism for managing petroleum business hubs in the direction of reducing hubs and intermediaries even more, making it easier to inspect and monitor; implementing a roadmap for adjusting electricity prices appropriately, without jerkiness, without perfectionism, and without haste.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to urgently submit to the Government in March 2024 a Decree amending and supplementing Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading.
