Compared to the end of last week, the price of Thang Long Dragon Gold Ring was 410 thousand VND/tael more expensive for buying and increased by 510 thousand VND/tael for selling.

Similarly, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group late this afternoon raised the price of 9999 round smooth gold rings to 76.25-77.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 450 thousand VND/tael (buy) and 400 thousand VND/tael (sell) compared to the closing price last week.

Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) also increased the price of gold rings sharply. The price of 9999 gold rings of 1-5 chi of SJC in Ho Chi Minh City this afternoon was traded at 75.75-77.45 million VND/tael, an increase of 150 thousand VND/tael in buying and 250 thousand VND/tael in selling compared to the closing price last week.

The price of gold rings at Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) today also increased by 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price, listed at the end of the session at 75.7-77.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

The gap between the buying and selling prices of domestic gold rings fluctuates between 1.5-1.9 million VND per tael.

Following the same trend, domestic gold bar prices also increased sharply, reaching a historical milestone of 91 million VND/tael.

The price of SJC gold bars today was adjusted up many times. From morning to afternoon, the price of SJC gold bars increased by a total of 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and 600 thousand VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of last weekend, closing at 89-91 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

Meanwhile, the price of gold bars at Doji increased by 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and 700 thousand VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price last week, listed at the end of the session at 89-90.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Domestic gold prices increased sharply in the context of a sharp increase in international gold prices, at times approaching 2,450 USD/ounce. World gold prices increased sharply after news of the helicopter crash of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

At 4:53 p.m. on May 20 (Vietnam time), the spot gold price reached 2,441.8 USD/ounce, up 27.8 USD/ounce compared to the end of last week.

Converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, world gold is currently priced at more than 74.9 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).

Compared to the world gold price, the price of SJC gold bars is 16.1 million VND/tael higher and the price of SJC gold rings is 2.55 million VND/tael more expensive.

The price of gold rings increased rapidly, becoming nearly half a million more expensive overnight . The price of gold rings in the country today (May 18) increased sharply. Overnight, some brands became nearly half a million more expensive per tael. Gold rings of all brands simultaneously regained the 77 million VND/tael mark.
