Leaders must make every effort to deploy AI training for all people
Opening the program, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh shared about FPT's strategic orientation in 2025. Leading to the story of DeepSeek - a "phenomenon" that has brought excitement about the potential to create world-leading products, Mr. Binh said that to achieve that goal, FPT needs to be "specialized and very specialized". To be specialized, FPT needs data, and at the same time, it needs to equip the team with tools so that everyone can develop AI applications on their own.

The top priority task that Mr. Binh proposed is that all FPT employees can use AI to transform, restructure, do things differently and do things smarter. “The Group will work closely with the units, develop more specialized training programs so that everyone can do well and apply AI most effectively,” the head of FPT affirmed. He set a requirement that every FPT employee, regardless of their position, from office staff to sales staff, needs to apply AI to their work. For the CTTVs, unit leaders need to pay attention to applying AI in operations/management.
“AI will be popularized and popularized. We are ahead and have experience. In this race, speed is decisive,” FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh stated.
From there, a key and urgent task is set for FPT's CTTVs: unit leaders need to directly direct issues related to AI deployment in their units, the most important of which is training. "AI for all people" must be deployed urgently, each employee needs to understand clearly to best exploit AI for their work. Next is to create a personalized agent module (from AI Agent Platform) to increase labor productivity, and indicators to work in detail with leaders. From there, leaders will work with their lab.
Mentioning the task of creating agents to increase labor productivity, Mr. Binh suggested that these agents could be from FPT's own platform or from outside. The Chairman of FPT also requested that the unit's leaders directly direct, especially when the work is important. He noted that this task needs to be done immediately.
In the future, FPT aims to have 1 million AI tools to support work. Therefore, each FPT person needs to make more efforts and be more creative to solve this problem soon. Mr. Binh also expressed his hope that FPT will be the pioneer enterprise to own the most modern machines. The latest generation of machines always gives outstanding results and will contribute to bringing FPT to the number 1 position in AI.
AIQ 2025 - AI First, Fast Track To Future aims to summarize and evaluate the results of AI implementation across the Group, discuss and give AI strategic direction for 2025, with the participation of 100 leaders, managers of FPT and CTTV.
Although new, AI applications also need to be measured by indicators of: Labor productivity, Sales, Profit, Number of agents (for internal and customer), Training index... The Group's Chairman requested member units to work with FPT Digital to get advice and guidance on how to measure.
Next, the head of FPT mentioned the future picture in the fields where FPT has strengths such as: AI Chip, in Cobol programming, in specific energy fields (Oil & gas). After that, he assigned specific tasks to the "warriors" in these fields.
“Finally, to realize all these OKRs, there must be a mechanism: recruiting talented people, giving them big problems and commensurate income. Besides, there is sharing and using data resources and infrastructure to take advantage of the strength from within FPT,” Mr. Binh emphasized.
Deploying "AI" throughout FPT
To realize the strategic orientation of Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa has proposed a plan for implementation across the Group. In which, he pointed out 7 main requirements that need to be urgently implemented: FPT Smart Cloud builds the AI Agent Platform; Code Vista must be global; AI Chip is compact, combined with camera; AI in education; AI in healthcare; AI increases labor productivity in CTTV; Original data is not fragmented.
"Currently, FPT has and is having in-depth AI training programs in various industries. We have to do it and the leaders of the companies need to implement it deeply, creating an impact on the leaders and lower management levels, and even deeper to the employees," the FPT General Director requested.

Regarding AI Lab, FPT CEO commented that each CTTV has promoted its strengths with specific implementation plans. Specifically: FPT Software creates effective programs for coders and production support (BA); FPT IS needs to have comprehensive knowledge to evaluate and apply AI to Made by FPT products and apply it in BA; FPT Telecom needs to bring AI into sales; FPT Education popularizes standards and tests with smaller models/samples; FPT Retail promotes AI more strongly in sales, improves the quality of AI personnel and adds experts.
“In the first quarter of this year, we need to deploy key programs (CoTs) on AI associated with the following milestones: FPT Retail customer care activities; FPT Telecom builds AI tools for work; FPT Education has a reasonable coverage of students and teachers using AI in learning and teaching; FPT IS develops software products with AI features, and the milestone of using AI in coding; FPT Online needs to use AI to increase labor productivity; FPT Smart Cloud has a number of agents operating abroad; FPT Software increases the use of AI for programming and code development,” Mr. Khoa requested the partners.
