(Dan Tri) - Towards the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Electricity Industry's Traditional Day, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) is implementing the Customer Gratitude Month program with the theme "Accompanying customers to use electricity safely, economically and effectively".
This year's Customer Appreciation Month program takes place in November and December, aiming to express EVN's gratitude to electricity customers through business activities, customer services and some social security activities. At the same time, the program also creates connections, bringing practical effects to electricity customers and the community through direct support and assistance to people, businesses and customers to use electricity safely, economically and effectively.
The program targets EVN’s electricity customers, residents, businesses, and production and business units. In addition, during the same period, EVN’s member units also organize and implement a number of specific social security activities depending on the conditions of each unit and the situation in each locality.
Accordingly, during this year's Customer Appreciation Month, EVN focuses on ensuring safe and stable electricity supply and improving customer service quality; organizing customer conferences to listen to customer feedback, answer questions, and provide advice on safe, economical and efficient electricity use.
EVN also expressed gratitude, gave gifts, and thanked industrial production customers and large electricity consumers who actively participated and coordinated with power units to adjust non-commercial electricity loads, shift production hours to off-peak hours... in 2024, especially during the hot months that caused electricity consumption to spike.
The Group also implements new power supply programs, supports repair, inspection, maintenance, free consultation and guidance on customers' electrical systems; ensures safe, economical and efficient use of electricity; free installation of meters, cleaning of transformer stations for businesses, and supports testing of customers' transformers.
EVN also organizes to strengthen guidance and propaganda to customers about safe, economical and efficient use of electricity in daily life and production through channels (Direct conferences, consulting via customer service hotline, App, web, text messages, coordination with mass organizations, political - social agencies...), commending typical families participating in the program Electricity-saving households, green families...
The Group coordinates with banks, payment intermediaries, and partners to jointly implement diverse customer care activities through forms such as giving gifts, bonus points, and vouchers for preferential services.
In addition to the above customer service appreciation activities carried out by the power units, the units in the group also coordinate with the power corporation to organize and implement social security activities during the same period. The implementation of specific activities depends on the conditions of each unit and the situation of each locality.
Specifically, the units will visit and support poor households, lonely elderly people without support, families with meritorious services, orphans in difficult circumstances; and pay tribute to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers that the group and units are taking care of.
In addition to repairing and installing new electrical systems for poor households and policy families; supporting poor households and policies to replace lighting with energy-saving LED lights, the units will also closely coordinate with the Provincial Youth Union of some localities in implementing the program of Lighting up the countryside roads in the area.
EVN organized the 10th humanitarian blood donation program "EVN Pink Week" in many provinces and cities with the participation of the group's staff and units.
The "Customer Gratitude Month" program has been participated in and implemented continuously by units throughout Vietnam Electricity Group over the past 10 years, despite the implementation context having unfavorable times.
