The campaign aims to implement the Call for the entire population to participate in registering, activating and using the VNeID application of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, raising awareness of all classes of people about the position, role, meaning, importance and convenience (transactions anytime, anywhere on the electronic platform) of using electronic identification accounts through the VNelD application.
This application helps people have legal "electronic documents", replacing paper household registration books and temporary residence books, and can also be applied in performing essential transactions, administrative procedures and daily civil transactions.
Through the implementation of the Campaign, the entire political system is mobilized to participate and create consensus, response, and active participation of people in using the VNelD application and electronic identification accounts, contributing to speeding up the progress of granting electronic identification accounts to eligible citizens and successfully implementing the tasks of Project 06 of the Government in the area.
From August 8 to 15, Don Duong district simultaneously launched a campaign to guide registration, collection, activation of electronic identification accounts and installation of the VNeID application to reach the finish line on August 15. Continuous time from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
The participants are members of the Project 06 Working Group, the police of communes and towns, youth union members, members of the Digital Technology Working Group, and volunteers (those who understand and are proficient in using information technology). Regarding equipment, each guidance group in the residential group or village must ensure at least 1 laptop or Ipad with Internet connection and other conditions.
The propaganda content focuses on the province's policies and high-point plans; the utilities of the VNeID application, the benefits and advantages of electronic identification and authentication accounts; measures, methods of registration, collection and steps to activate electronic identification accounts.
Working groups go directly to each house to check and guide or gather at a location such as a cultural house, community center, house of the head of the residential group, village chief, etc. to notify people of the time and place for citizens to come to register and provide instructions on activating their electronic identification accounts.
Mr. Duong Duc Dai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Don Duong district also said: During the peak week of the Campaign, the district organized extensive and continuous propaganda, highlighting the meaning, importance and utility of the VNeID application for all areas of economic and social life; thereby creating consensus and participation in using the VNeID application of the majority of people in performing administrative procedures and transactions in the electronic environment...
With the determination to carry out a lightning-fast 7-day and night campaign to reach the target of activating electronic identification for people, the district mobilized agencies and units to participate in the spirit of "going to every alley, to every house, checking every person", mobilizing, supporting, and guiding people to install and activate, striving to reach the target of 100% by August 15.
