Accordingly, the Center for Journalism Culture (CJC) is a revenue-generating public service unit with legal status, its own seal, account, and implementation of the revenue and expenditure regime for operating expenses and financial reporting according to state regulations.

The Center for Journalism and Culture is a public service unit under the direct management of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, with the function of organizing cultural, artistic, sports and community activities and events; managing professional clubs; developing cooperative activities to enhance the role of the Vietnam Journalists Association in promoting Vietnamese journalism culture, while contributing to building a professional and developed journalism community.

The tasks of the Center for Culture and Journalism include:

Organizing cultural, artistic, sports and community activities and events. Accordingly, the Center for Culture and Journalism advises on planning and organizing or coordinating the implementation of events approved by the Association's leaders (determining the objectives, participants, time and location for cultural, artistic, sports and community activities and events. At the same time, preparing the necessary human and material resources to ensure the success of the event); Searching for and establishing relationships with partners and sponsors in organizing activities and events to ensure the effective implementation of activities and events;

Develop a plan to promote the image and role of the Vietnam Journalists Association through activities and events, attracting the attention and participation of the press community and the public; Manage and coordinate organizational activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures; Coordinate with press agencies, Central and local levels of the Association to organize exchange activities, press cultural activities, and community activities to contribute to increasing connections for journalists, members and the public; Monitor and synthesize reports to the leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association on the activities of the Association at all levels in the fields of culture and sports; Perform other tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Managing professional clubs. Specifically: Supervising and directing the activities of professional clubs; Coordinating with relevant units inside and outside the Association to organize competitions and award prizes for specialized journalism, complying with the objectives, regulations of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the laws of the State; Advising on the establishment of new clubs and exploiting the potential for developing activities at both the Central and provincial levels to improve the professional expertise of members in each field and creating opportunities for exchange and sharing of experiences.

Strengthening cooperation and promoting the role of the Vietnam Journalists Association is also an important task of the Center for Journalism Culture, including the following tasks: Supporting the Association's leaders in establishing and maintaining partnerships with organizations, businesses, state agencies and international partners to develop cooperation projects. Preparing and implementing projects and cooperation communication programs approved by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Regarding the organizational structure and personnel, according to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, in the immediate future: The Center's apparatus is streamlined with the following organizational structure and tasks: Center leadership: 1 Director and 1 Deputy Director.

Affiliated Departments: Rename the Planning - General Department to the Administration - General Department. Personnel include: 1 department head and specialists. Newly establish the Event Organization and Cultural Cooperation Department. Personnel include 1 department head and specialists.

Next phase: Depending on the revenue and development potential of the Center, there will be proposals to adjust the personnel structure (if any) or plans to recruit contract staff, collaborators, etc. to ensure the implementation of the tasks assigned to the Center.
