(CLO) Towards the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association (April 21, 1950 - April 21, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the Nam Dinh Provincial Journalists Association has just issued an implementation plan with many specific and practical activities.
Accordingly, closely following Plan No. 345/KH-HNBVN, dated October 9, 2023 of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Plan No. 146-KH/TU, dated June 7, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the Nam Dinh Provincial Journalists Association plans to chair a workshop with the theme "Press accompanies the development of the province".

The Provincial Journalists Association has strengthened coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Nam Dinh Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and a number of relevant departments, agencies, and units to publish a special issue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; and to produce a report on the formation and development of Nam Dinh Province's Revolutionary Press.
Organize meetings and honor outstanding and advanced journalists in the 5-year period, 2020-2025. Display press publications and images of the province's outstanding socio-economic achievements. Coordinate the compilation and publication of the book "History of Nam Dinh Province's Press". Promote the response to press competitions and awards; increase the creation, performance, and promotion of press, literary, and artistic works. Organize an art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press.
The Provincial Journalists Association held a meeting with members and presented the 6th Provincial Journalists Association Open Press Award; launched the 7th Provincial Journalists Association Open Press Award on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association, April 21, 2025.
On the occasion of June 21, 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association strengthened coordination and paid tribute to 3 families of martyr journalists from the Provincial Radio and Television Station who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country; organized a program to return to the source, offer incense, and commemorate General Secretary Truong Chinh in Hanh Thien village, Xuan Hong commune (Xuan Truong) and a number of practical and meaningful related activities...
