Businesses boost recruitment
According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Giang, foreign-invested enterprises in the area are focusing on recruiting workers, especially as the 2024 Lunar New Year approaches.
According to the Provincial Employment Service Center, each session attracts many businesses to participate in recruiting and creating jobs for workers. In addition to direct sessions, the center also organizes mobile and online sessions.
Currently, 23 businesses have registered to recruit workers. Besides the semiconductor company Hana Micron Vina, which is recruiting over 1,000 people, two of Apple's partners, Luxshare ICT and New Wing Interconnect Technology, are looking to recruit tens of thousands of workers.

In Hanoi, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Employment Service Center, commented that in the last months of 2023, businesses in the North will continue to increase labor recruitment, with the capital market alone forecasting a need for 120,000-140,000 workers.
According to the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, through collecting information and feedback from businesses as well as analyzing the labor market, the unit assessed that the commercial service sector continues to have high recruitment.
Next is the manufacturing industry, construction, finance, banking, and office sectors that will also recruit a lot from now until the end of the year.
Strengthening the connection between labor supply and demand
According to the General Statistics Office, in the third quarter, the labor force aged 15 and over was 52.4 million people, an increase of nearly 100,000 people compared to the previous quarter and more than 500,000 people compared to the same period last year.
51.3 million workers have jobs, an increase of 87,400 people compared to the second quarter. In the first 9 months of the year, the number of workers aged 15 and over with jobs reached 51.2 million people.
Notably, the third quarter recorded a slight recovery in labor in the industrial and construction sectors after a decline due to the impact of a lack of orders.

According to the report of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, this unit has deployed tasks and solutions to develop and enhance the capacity of employment service activities to strengthen the connection between labor supply and demand.
In addition, organize labor market analysis and forecasting activities to provide directional information for labor market participants.
Specifically, the units regularly update input data sets for analysis and forecasting; coordinate with ministries, branches, and domestic universities... to research, exploit, analyze data, and share experiences in forecasting the labor market.
