Bac Giang temporarily suspends construction of new district and commune headquarters

Kinhtedothi - The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 1195 requesting the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review and temporarily stop new investments, renovation, repair and upgrading of district and commune headquarters.

The dispatch clearly states: implementing Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW dated February 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025; Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on implementing research and proposing to continue to arrange the apparatus of the political system, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review and temporarily suspend the implementation of new investment projects and works, renovate, repair and upgrade the working headquarters of agencies and administrative units at district and commune levels until there are new instructions; ensure thrift practice and anti-waste.

Assign the Department of Construction, according to its functions and tasks, to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance, the Department of Home Affairs and related units to monitor, inspect and supervise agencies, units and localities. Advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee timely and effective management contents.

Previously, many provinces and cities across the country also requested to temporarily suspend the implementation of new construction projects and renovation and repair of office buildings during the process of restructuring the apparatus.
