Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy expressed his joy to welcome the leaders and representatives of agencies, units, and reporters; at the same time, Colonel Pham Minh Tuan expressed his gratitude for the deep affection of the working delegation for the forces currently performing combat readiness tasks on the seas and islands of the Fatherland, especially the officers and soldiers of Truong Sa and DK1 Platform.
"Those sentiments contribute to creating great motivation for each officer and soldier in the Army to continue to overcome all difficulties and dangers, unite, stand firm at the forefront, and fulfill their responsibilities," Colonel Pham Minh Tuan expressed.

According to Colonel Tuan, this trip has advantages but also has difficulties, especially for those comrades who are making a long journey at sea for the first time. The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy expressed hope that the trip would bring the delegation interesting and useful things, leaving beautiful impressions and memories, especially providing more valuable practices.
Comrade Dang Van Canh launched the emulation movement with the theme: "Solidarity, loyalty, achievements, determination to win".
"After the trip, we will have a basis to advise the Party, the State and central and local ministries and branches on correct and timely policies for the country's seas and islands, and at the same time understand more about the great value of our seas and islands in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," Colonel Pham Minh Tuan emphasized.
At the conference, the delegation was informed about the cruise plan, safety regulations, accommodation, travel, work activities on ships, islands, platforms and information and propaganda work.

According to comrade Dang Van Canh, the goal of the movement is to create a vibrant atmosphere, encourage, cheer, and motivate members of the Working Group to promote positivity, proactiveness, creativity, overcome difficulties, raise their determination, strive to excellently complete the task of visiting Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 Platform, practically achieve achievements to celebrate major holidays such as: 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and International Labor Day May 1; 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) and 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2023), towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
During this working trip, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district with 2 CQ boats worth 10.4 billion VND, 2 Trade Union vegetable gardens worth 500 million VND and the Thai Nguyen provincial delegation supported 1 billion VND for the program "Greening Truong Sa".
