When officially put into operation, Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station Metro will provide a modern, fast and environmentally friendly means of public transport for the people of Hanoi Capital.
The Hanoi Urban Railway Project Management Board (MRB) has just sent a document to the Hanoi People's Committee proposing a plan to organize the commercial operation ceremony of the elevated section of the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station Urban Railway Project (Metro Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station) scheduled for the morning of August 9.
Accordingly, MRB proposed that the Hanoi People's Committee consider and assign tasks to relevant agencies, units and related units.
Specifically, the Hanoi Department of Transport directed the traffic inspection force to coordinate with the traffic police force and related units to agree on a plan to organize traffic flow to ensure traffic safety during the site preparation period (August 7-8) and during the commercial operation ceremony (August 9).
The Hanoi Department of Transport has a plan to guide vehicles in the area where the commercial operation ceremony will be held, coordinate with the People's Committees of related districts to arrange the premises, arrange parking spaces, and guide vehicles in and out of the area to ensure safety and convenience.
The People's Committees of Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Ba Dinh, and Dong Da districts organize cleaning and sanitation of the environment, do not allow people to dump garbage and waste materials on the sidewalks along both sides of the road to ensure environmental sanitation, traffic safety, security and order for the commercial operation ceremony, and deploy decoration items to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital around the area where the commercial operation ceremony takes place to ensure solemnity and urban beauty.
Mr. Luu Trung Dung, Deputy Head of MRB, emphasized that the completion and putting into use of the elevated section of the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station Metro is a major event, marking a new development milestone in the public transport system of Hanoi Capital, practically celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Recognizing that the success of the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station Metro Line will create confidence for investors in the potential for developing the capital's transport infrastructure, attracting investment capital for subsequent projects, Mr. Dung said that this is a testament to the relentless efforts of the Party and the city government in investing in building modern transport infrastructure, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people./.
