The film crew of The Yin and Yang Road recently held a press conference to introduce details about the project on the afternoon of March 19 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event was attended by members of the film crew: producer Vu Thi Bich Lien, director Hoang Tuan Cuong, actors: Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, artist Minh Hoang, actors Bach Cong Khanh, Lan Thy, Tuan Dung, Le Kham... Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia was absent due to his personal schedule.
The director said he chose the theme of ambulances because it has many spiritual elements. The story in the film was also refined after the crew researched and consulted with people who are working in this profession in real life.
He said that for horror films, there must be jump scares, more or less. However, during the process of making the film, he did not overdo it, but was selective and restrained enough to make the audience feel a little startled or scared when they go to the cinema.
Besides the spiritual element, the film also emphasizes the value of family affection. Artist Minh Hoang was particularly impressed when the film cleverly integrated stories about family and father-son affection, creating emotional depth.
Producer Vu Thi Bich Lien revealed that Am Duong Lo is the project that worries her the most about the health and safety of the crew. During filming, she constantly monitored the situation and put safety first. She even agreed to let the film crew return to Saigon, allowed the use of stuntmen, rented a rickshaw or filmed on set to ensure safety.
The road of Yin and Yang revolves around the story of an unemployed bachelor who, in order to make a living, secretly transports a female corpse to Mang Den in the middle of the night. On the journey, he faces the mysterious supernatural world, a girl who makes his heart flutter, and a horrifying truth related to the ambulance he is driving.

The Yin and Yang Road will have special screenings from 6 p.m. on March 26 and all day on March 27 before officially opening nationwide on March 28.
