The 10th Congress of Hai Duong Provincial Literature and Arts Association, term 2024

(NADS) - On the morning of February 28, the Hai Duong Provincial Literature and Arts Association held its 10th Congress for the 2024-2028 term.

Attending the congress were comrades: Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

In addition, there were also the participation of a number of members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of a number of departments, branches, districts, towns and cities in the province; former leaders of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association through the periods, representatives of a number of organizations and enterprises in Hai Duong province; leaders of the Literature and Arts Associations of 13 neighboring provinces and cities and 165 members of the Literature and Arts Association of Hai Duong province.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations Do Hong Quan and Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung acknowledged and commended the achievements, efforts and attempts of the staff and members of the Hai Duong Provincial Literature and Arts Association during the 2019-2024 term. The Provincial Literature and Arts Association has constantly innovated its content and methods of operation, and has developed strongly. The team of artists and writers is growing in both quantity and quality. Many members have won high awards in competitions and campaigns for literary and artistic creation from the central to local levels.

Comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province gave a speech at the Congress.

The leaders of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations suggested that in the coming time, the Association should pay attention to training and fostering members; maximize the creativity of generations of artists in each genre, creating many works of high ideological and artistic value; reflecting truthfully, deeply and comprehensively about Hai Duong, especially the process of acceleration and breakthrough with the aspiration for development in the new period. Promote the application of digital transformation in the activities of composing, performing, introducing and disseminating works.
