Pursuant to Decision No. 498/QD-BTC dated December 19, 2024 of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 "Ben Tre - Aspiration to Reach Far" Art Photography Contest and Exhibition on promulgating the Rules of the 2025 "Ben Tre - Aspiration to Reach Far" Art Photography Contest and Exhibition. The Organizing Committee of the Contest announces the rules as follows:
Works on display at the 39th Mekong Delta Art Photography Festival 2024
1. Contestants
- Photography enthusiasts, Vietnamese citizens in the country, aged 18 and over can submit photos to the Contest.
- Members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury are not allowed to submit photos to the Contest.
- Do not use photos that have won prizes in contests sponsored by VAPA to enter the contest.
2. Content and form of the contest
2.1. Content
- Demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", respecting the sacrifices of our ancestors, honoring the contributions of individuals and units over the past time who have joined hands to build a rich and beautiful Ben Tre province.
- Showcasing the unique beauty of the Coconut Land with destinations, historical and cultural landmarks, natural landscapes and the beauty of Ben Tre people in production and labor, expressing the appearance of a locality that is constantly changing in all aspects.
- Special attention is paid to reflecting the development orientation towards the East (towards the sea) of the province and developing tourism potential with friendly smiles in the homeland of Ben Tre.
- Issues of contemporary life... and other contents aimed at the values of truth, goodness, and beauty of the heroic homeland of Dong Khoi.
2.2. Format: Photos must be created from January 2022 to March 2025. Contestants submit photos directly to the website: chuongtrinhannghiaquedua.vn
* Contest photo specifications
- Single, color photo, the Organizing Committee does not accept black and white photos.
- Do not violate Vietnamese customs.
- There must be a caption of no more than 80 words introducing the content of the photo.
- Number of photos: From 1-10 photos/author.
- Contest photos must be in digital file format, JPG format, size from 4Mb - 5Mb, resolution 300dpi.
- Contest photos must not have names, watermarks, place names, borders, etc.
- No grafting, no use of artificial intelligence (AI).
- The organizer will require the author to send the original file for all selected photos.
3. Contest period, prize structure and number of photos selected for exhibition:
3.1. Contest period: From December 19, 2024 to March 15, 2025.
3.2. Prize structure
- 01 First prize, with cash of 20,000,000 VND.
- 02 Second prizes, with cash of 15,000,000 VND/prize.
- 03 Third prizes, with cash of 10,000,000 VND/prize.
- 10 Consolation prizes, with cash of VND 5,000,000/prize.
The prize structure may change, based on the quality of the photos in each category. In addition to the official prize, there will be prizes for the sponsor's topics. The prize can be cash, in kind or preferential services as decided by the sponsor. The Organizing Committee will announce later.
3.3. Number of photos selected for exhibition (in the program "Gratitude of Coconut Country, Aspiration to Reach Far" 2/2025 in Ben Tre province): Expected from 150 to 200 photos.
4. Rights and responsibilities of the author
4.1. Rights
Authors whose photos are awarded prizes at the Contest and displayed at the exhibition will receive prize money and exhibition fees according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, will be awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Organizing Committee and will be scored according to the sponsorship regulations of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).
4.2. Responsibility
- Submitting photos to the contest confirms the author's acceptance of the contest rules.
- The author is responsible for copyright, personal income tax, related rights according to the provisions of law and strictly implements the contest rules. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for disputes over copyright and related rights. The Organizing Committee will cancel the selection results, revoke the prize and other benefits (if any) if it detects violations of copyright and related rights according to the provisions of current law.
5. Note
- Photos that violate the rules will be eliminated from the contest.
- Each author can only use 01 name to submit photos for the contest. The Organizing Committee will send the prize money and exhibition fee (if any) according to the real name (name on the citizen identification card) of the author.
- Ben Tre Province has the right to use the awarded and selected exhibition photos to serve political, propaganda, and foreign affairs tasks for non-commercial purposes without having to pay any additional costs. Personal rights belong to the author.
