Rescue forces have found all five bodies of students in the drowning incident that occurred on the Red River bank in Hien Quan commune (Phu Tho).

On November 20, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a leader of the People's Committee of Tam Nong district (Phu Tho province) said that on the morning of the same day, rescue forces discovered three more bodies of students in a drowning incident on the Red River bank through Hien Quan commune.

The bodies of two children were found in Zone 1, Van Xuan Commune and Zone 7, Thanh Uyen Commune, Tam Nong District, 5km from the accident site. The remaining victim's body was found in the river area in Viet Tri City, 35km downstream of the Red River from the accident site.
"Up to this point, after many days of searching, authorities have found all five bodies of students in the drowning incident," the leader informed.
Previously, at 7:00 p.m. on November 18, authorities found the body of a female student.
At around 1:30 p.m. on November 19, rescue forces found the body of a victim more than 10km downstream from the scene of the disappearance.
According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, initial determination was that because of school break, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 18, 10 students in Hien Quan commune invited each other to the Red River alluvial area (through Hien Quan commune) to play.
After that, 6 students went swimming in the river, 1 student swam to shore, but 5 8th grade students were missing, suspected of drowning.
Immediately after receiving the news, Phu Tho Provincial Police urgently directed the deployment of forces, including "frogmen" and vehicles to the scene to coordinate with local authorities and local forces to carry out rescue work, search for victims.
