Vehicles and smuggled cigarettes were temporarily detained by the waterway traffic police.
Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 1,400 packs of Hero brand cigarettes hidden on the motorboat without invoices or documents.
The driver of the vehicle is MTĐ (born in 1994, residing in Ben Keo hamlet, Long Thanh Nam commune, Hoa Thanh town). D said that the above cigarettes were transported from Go Noi hamlet, Ninh Dien commune, Chau Thanh district to Ben Keo hamlet to be delivered to someone else for consumption.
The working group made a record of temporary detention of goods and subjects and handed them over to Chau Thanh District Police for handling according to the provisions of law.
