Green i-Park Joint Stock Company: Commenced construction of Mai Diem flood control pumping station with capacity of 24,000m3/hour

On the morning of February 24, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mai Diem anti-flooding pumping station investment project, at K4+916 on the left dike of Diem Ho River, Thai Thuy District. The project is invested by Green i-Park Joint Stock Company (infrastructure investor of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park).

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony.

The pumping station is built on an area of ^1,200m2 with 4 units, a total capacity of ^24,000m3 /hour, and a total investment of nearly 30 billion VND. According to the plan, the project will be constructed in 6 months. When completed, it will solve the drainage problem during the rainy season and high tides for an area of about 30 hectares of Tra Boi village (Thuy Lien commune), prevent flooding for the drainage system of Diem Dien town and more than 200 hectares of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.

The leaders of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company committed to allocating sufficient resources, urging contractors to focus on human resources and construction machinery to ensure quality, labor safety, environmental sanitation and soon put the pumping station into operation.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Mai Diem pumping station.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park infrastructure investor in implementing environmental protection work. Green i-Park has invested in a modern industrial park, attracting many large-scale secondary investors to operate, contributing to promoting economic restructuring and creating jobs for local workers. The groundbreaking of the Mai Diem anti-flood pumping station not only serves the daily life and production of people in the project area but also ensures infrastructure safety, creating peace of mind for investors when operating in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Green i-Park Joint Stock Company, the contractor, to promptly start constructing the project items to meet the requirements of quality, in accordance with the design, speed up the construction progress, and strive to complete the project before the rainy season this year. Relevant departments, branches, and localities coordinate and create all favorable conditions for the project to be deployed quickly, put into operation soon to serve the work of natural disaster prevention and control and improve the ecological environment in the region.
