Tay Ninh City Police: Temporarily detain a subject for illegal possession of drugs

Previously, at 00:20 on August 2, 2023, Ward IV Police inspected a motel on Nguyen Van Rop Street (in Quarter 6, Ward IV, Tay Ninh City) where Pham Van Cuong rented a house. Upon inspection, they discovered a brown and white cloth bag on the wooden table in the bedroom, inside of which were hidden 2 nylon bags containing transparent solid crystals, suspected to be methamphetamine.

Through investigation, Pham Van Cuong confessed to being addicted to drugs and that the two nylon bags containing clear solid crystals were methamphetamine that Cuong bought for use.

Currently, Tay Ninh City Police continue to investigate.
