Elected bodies support the government, the government does not wait until it is difficult to solve problems

The National Assembly Chairman noted that Ha Nam needs to review its development direction, especially planning work; elected bodies should increase support for the government; and the government should accompany the people and businesses, not waiting until difficult times to find solutions.

On May 14, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue worked with the Standing Committee of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee on implementing the province's socio-economic development tasks.

Reporting to the National Assembly Chairman and the Working Delegation, Ha Nam Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy said that in the context of many fluctuations compared to the forecast at the beginning of the term, the province has achieved important and comprehensive results in all fields.

Notably, the Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee requested that superiors pay attention to directing the two hospitals, Bach Mai Hospital 2 and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital 2, to soon come into operation to provide medical examination and treatment for people in the province and neighboring localities.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the dramatic change of Ha Nam from a purely agricultural province to a fairly developed province in the region. In addition, the National Assembly Chairman also noted that Ha Nam needs to review its development direction, especially planning. Ha Nam province needs to coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to submit to the Government for early approval of the provincial planning, creating motivation for people and businesses to increase investment in the locality.

Emphasizing the province's goal of building Ha Nam into a prosperous province, becoming a centrally-run city by 2035, and a modern city by 2050, the National Assembly Chairman hoped that the province would strengthen its development aspirations, innovate its thinking and vision; promote its potential and strengths as a southern gateway province of the capital; and quickly complete the construction of Ring Road 5 connecting with the capital region.

The National Assembly Chairman also suggested that Ha Nam continue to improve the quality of elected agencies' operations in a way that supports the government; and the government should accompany the people and businesses, not only looking for solutions when things are difficult.

* Also during his working trip to Ha Nam province, the National Assembly Chairman attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Phu Thu intersection investment project and the opening ceremony of the sports complex.

That same evening, the National Assembly Chairman attended the opening ceremony of the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week. This is an event in response to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.
