TPO - The Trade Union of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has organized a campaign for officials, civil servants, and employees of the agencies to register to contribute 1 day's salary to the "For the Poor" Fund with the amount of 400 million VND.
On October 30, specialized agencies advising and assisting the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee launched a campaign to raise contributions to support the city's "For the Poor" Fund.
Launching the program, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Truong Vinh Tung said that recently, the city has organized activities to respond to the peak month "For the poor" with many practical care activities such as: Building and repairing charity houses; taking care of scholarships and means of transportation for students in difficult circumstances; giving health insurance cards, supporting means of livelihood and many other practical support contents... to improve the quality of life for poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances.
Thereby effectively implementing the "Sustainable Poverty Reduction" program of Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2021 - 2025, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City with good quality of life, civilized, modern and affectionate.
