Welcoming and working with the delegation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan Pham Quang Hieu said that Vietnam and Japan have a good relationship, with equal, friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation. In particular, regarding labor, Japan is currently in great need. In the recent past, the number of Vietnamese workers going to work in Japan has increased rapidly, which is a good thing, but there have also been some issues related to workers violating the law. Therefore, it is possible that this year, Japan will amend its policy on receiving foreign workers, in the direction of further improving the qualifications of workers, so competition will be more difficult. However, according to the Ambassador, Vietnamese workers also have advantages, which are diligence and hard work. The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan is ready to support connections and create conditions for businesses and Lam Dong province to strengthen cooperation with Japanese partners.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Hiep thanked Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu for welcoming and working with the delegation. He informed the Ambassador about the cooperation situation between Lam Dong and Japanese partners, as well as the signing of a cooperation agreement between Lam Dong and Kochi province on sending and receiving workers. At the same time, he hoped that the Vietnamese Embassy would continue to connect to promote and strengthen cooperation between Lam Dong and Japan, including the fields of labor; trade and consumption of Lam Dong's key products; and attracting Japanese enterprises to invest in Lam Dong. He said that the province would create the best conditions for Japanese enterprises to invest in Lam Dong.
