Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In early November, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to add one more deputy minister, so that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development would have 6 deputy ministers to meet the requirements of mobilizing, arranging and assigning cadres to prepare for the provincial party congresses and the 14th National Party Congress. Since the 14th National Party Congress, the total number of deputy ministers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has not exceeded 5. Thus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development currently has 6 deputy ministers, including Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri, Mr. Hoang Trung and Mr. Vo Van Hung.
