The trend of hunting for stamps on Ha Giang passports appeared on social networks since the end of January 2025 and has attracted thousands of young people who love to travel. Through clips sharing the journey of hunting for stamps on TikTok, many tourists expressed their interest in this impressive marketing trick.
Going on a spring trip with his family, Hung Vi (Lang Son) could not miss the "hot" trend of collecting stamps. With a cost of 30,000 VND to buy a passport at the Km0 ice cream counter, the journey to conquer Ha Giang began.

According to Hung Vi, this idea is very new and cute. Every tourist is excited to explore the destinations and hunt for stamps.
"For first-timers, just looking at the list of places to visit printed in the notebook is interesting enough. At the Km0 milestone, I collected 3 stamps," Hung Vi shared.
To Thai Hung - travel blogger, father of Ha Giang passport - shared that due to the nature of his job, Hung gets to travel to many places around the world, and everywhere he goes, he finds impressive souvenirs.
In addition, when reviewing his passport and seeing the entry and exit stamps, Hung always remembers the memories of his trips. Therefore, the idea of creating a Ha Giang passport was born, so that everyone can save the memories of their check-in trip to the land at the head of the Fatherland.

The passport consists of 18 pages printed on hard paper. Many beautiful images of Ha Giang such as Lung Cu flagpole, Nho Que river, Suoi Thau grassland are printed on the pages.
In particular, the passport is like a Ha Giang travel guide for first-time visitors, with a list of 30 experiences to try in Ha Giang. These include checking in at the Km0 milestone, eating milestone ice cream, checking in at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, painting with beeswax at Lung Tam weaving village, etc.

When purchasing the book, visitors will be given a separate sheet with the locations of the stamps printed on it so that visitors can find and stamp it themselves.

Although the coordinates for finding the stamp are printed on the leaflet, some tourists have reported that it is quite difficult to find the free stamping location. The leaflet should have more detailed information about the stamping location (homestay, coffee shop, etc.) to make it easier for tourists to check-in, avoiding cases of "stamping for money" that affect the image of local tourism.
