Accompanying the National Assembly Chairman on his official visit to Bulgaria were members of the Party Central Committee: Bui Van Cuong - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office; Vu Hai Ha - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Le Quang Huy - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment; Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province. Leaders of the ministries: Foreign Affairs, Public Security, Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment, Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of several localities.

At the meeting, Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov expressed his honor to welcome Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly on an official visit to Bulgaria, congratulated and highly appreciated the results of the talks between the two National Assembly Chairmen.
Emphasizing that the visit is a very favorable opportunity for the two sides to discuss and agree on specific measures to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations in the coming time, the Bulgarian Prime Minister also affirmed that he will directly monitor and direct Bulgarian ministries and branches to coordinate the implementation of the results of the visit by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his delight at leading a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly to pay an official visit to Bulgaria, a traditional friendly partner of Vietnam in the Central and Eastern European region; affirming that Vietnam always pays attention to, follows and is pleased with the good results that Bulgaria has achieved in socio-economic development in recent times, contributing to consolidating and enhancing Bulgaria's position in the international arena.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister highly appreciated Vietnam's important role and strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region; expressed his impression of Vietnam's dynamic development.

Assessing that economic cooperation is still modest, the two sides affirmed their determination to increase bilateral trade turnover in a balanced and sustainable manner by creating conditions for goods from both countries to access each other's markets. Vietnam can be a bridge for Bulgaria to penetrate the ASEAN market and vice versa, Bulgaria is the gateway for Vietnam to enter the European market.
The two sides agreed to renew traditional areas of cooperation such as agriculture, food processing, pharmaceuticals, etc., while opening up new areas of cooperation with great potential such as green transformation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, equitable energy transition, etc. To create a breakthrough in investment, the two sides agreed to encourage the establishment of joint ventures to produce products for export to third countries, taking advantage of Bulgaria's intelligence and technology and Vietnam's abundant labor resources.

The two sides agreed to soon hold the 24th Meeting of the Vietnam - Bulgaria Intergovernmental Committee in 2023 to review and agree on specific measures to promote economic - trade - investment cooperation between the two countries.
The two leaders also agreed to harmoniously develop economic and trade cooperation with cooperation in education - training, culture - tourism, localities and people-to-people exchange on the basis of signed cooperation agreements, especially the five cooperation documents just signed during the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.
In a friendly and cordial atmosphere, the two leaders expressed their belief that with the will, efforts and determination of both sides, on the basis of the traditional friendship, Vietnam - Bulgaria cooperation will be continuously consolidated and developed better and better, meeting the aspirations of the people of the two countries, contributing to peace, cooperation and development of the region and the world.

Within the framework of his official visit to Bulgaria, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also attended the Vietnam-Bulgaria Law and Policy Forum to promote bilateral cooperation; the event was held right after the successful talks and meetings between the National Assembly Chairman and Bulgarian leaders, attracting the participation of many leaders of ministries, sectors and businesses of the two countries.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited and delivered an important policy speech on the current world and regional situation and the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Bulgaria at the Sofia University of International and National Economics. The event attracted the participation of about 300 lecturers, students, researchers, Bulgarian and international scholars, along with leaders of several committees of the Bulgarian National Assembly, leaders of ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Training, representatives of several sectors, the Bulgarian Business Association, the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association and especially the participation of many ambassadors, chargé d'affaires of countries and representatives of international organizations in Bulgaria.

On the afternoon of September 25, local time, during his official visit to Bulgaria, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received leaders of several large corporations and business associations of Bulgaria, including: Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bulgarian branch of the Association of Industry and Electronic Information, Bulgarian Industrial Association, Geotechmin Ood Company specializing in mining, construction, energy and Biovet JSC Company specializing in veterinary medicine.
On the morning of September 26 local time, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov; Chairwoman of the GERB-UDF Party Parliamentary Group Desislava Atanasova; Chairwoman of the BSP Party, Chairwoman of the BSP Parliamentary Group for Bulgaria Kornelya Ninova and leaders of several large Bulgarian enterprises and corporations.
