Closing Ceremony of the 42nd National Television Festival

On the evening of March 22, in Binh Dinh province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 42nd National Television Festival. Ha Giang Radio and Television Station achieved impressive results when 4 entries were honored, including 1 Silver prize and 3 Encouragement prizes.

This year's festival gathered 734 works from all over the country, which were judged in 11 categories. The Organizing Committee awarded 54 Gold prizes, 98 Silver prizes, 223 Encouragement prizes and 3 individual prizes. Ha Giang Radio and Television Station made its mark at the 42nd National Television Festival when it won prizes in 4 categories out of a total of 6 works. Of which, the work "Ha Giang, the rock region calls" in the category of the Music and Dance program by the group of authors Bich Hoa, Huyen Trang, Minh Hung, Minh Hieu won the Silver prize; the work "From the top of the mountain" by the group of authors Huyen Trang, Minh Hung, Thanh Lam, Vuong May; the work "School of the Party" by the group of authors Thu Hoai, Tien Thanh; the work "Let the green tell the story of the forest" by the group of authors Phuong Duyen, Dinh Anh won the Encouragement prize.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the festival, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy at what the festival had achieved, which was worthy of being a festival for television workers nationwide. The Prime Minister also requested Vietnam Television and the television industry nationwide to continue to fulfill their duties and roles; to be the main channel for propagating the guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and State. They must reflect social life in an impartial, transparent, and correct manner, creating trust and motivation for all people in the cause of national construction and development.
