On the evening of October 15, the final round of The New Mentor took place in Ho Chi Minh City. After more than 2 months of broadcasting, model Le Thu Trang - a contestant from Lan Khue's team was crowned champion. The first two runners-up were Mai Ngo (Thanh Hang's team) and Nhu Van (Ha Ho's team). The second and third runners-up of The New Mentor 2023 were Do Thi Huong Giang and model Vu Thuy Quynh (Huong Giang's team).

How did you feel when Le Thu Trang - a contestant on your team won the championship of the game show The New Mentor?
- I was so happy that I cried. Thu Trang has not only brought joy and pride to me but also to the whole team and to the audience who love her. I hope everyone will follow Thu Trang not only in the competition but also in the future - in Trang's long journey in the future.
On social media, many viewers believe that Le Thu Trang's championship title is simply a set-up, as Lan Khue's team had never won a single episode of The New Mentor. What do you think about that?
- There is no structure here, it is a discussion and debate of all the judges. Looking back at Le Thu Trang's entire journey at The New Mentor 2023, you will understand how talented and hard-working this contestant is. Thu Trang has full capacity and qualities and she will certainly develop them in the future so that the audience can see that.
Many people call this a "fierce" battle between Super Mentors. You must be very proud that you are the winner in the end?
- I don't think so. This is the overall victory of the whole program, not the glory of each individual. When coming to this program, the four of us told each other: The most important thing is to find a champion that the audience "convinced", we look at it and feel satisfied. The winner not only represents the success of the program but also represents the serious work of all 4 coaches. I am lucky to have such a contestant.
The moment you and Ha Ho held hands before announcing the winner caught the attention of many viewers. What did you two say to each other?
- Actually, all 4 Super Mentors are humorous and cheerful people. At that moment, Ha and I said to each other a very simple sentence: "Now let's hold hands, to make the atmosphere a little more dramatic" (laughs).
What do you think about Mai Ngo's 1st runner-up title?
- Mai Ngo's talent is widely recognized by viewers. Whether she wins the runner-up title or not, she has performed very well on the show. It can be said that, up to this point, the name Mai Ngo has almost become a brand. She is loved by many viewers.

I didn't see Minh Tu stumble.
Lan Khue and model Minh Tu once showed their anger towards each other on the game show The Face. - First of all, I want to thank Minh Tu for taking the time to participate in the program despite her busy schedule. When returning to normal life, Minh Tu and I have no reason to hate or avoid each other.
While performing a catwalk on The New Mentor stage, model Minh Tu tripped. Why didn't Lan Khue help her up at that time?
- The two of them went their separate ways so I didn't see them, so I was worried and asked them. Tu was very professional, as soon as she entered the backstage, she immediately reassured me and the crew. Tu also wished my team would win soon.
