More than 500 farmers tasted fruits and visited high-tech agricultural machinery from many countries around the world at HortEx Vietnam 2025
On the morning of March 12 in Ho Chi Minh City, the 7th International Exhibition & Conference on Production and Processing Technology of Vegetables, Flowers and Fruits in Vietnam - HortEx Vietnam 2025 - officially opened.
This event is special because not only manufacturers and distributors are present, but also more than 500 farmers across the country.

Through visiting the booths of many large agricultural corporations in the world, Vietnamese farmers can access advanced technologies and solutions to apply in production.
Mr. Tran Doan Ha - a farmer from Ben Tre province said that this was the first time he participated in such a grand event.
“I and a group of 16 other farmers from the same province attended this exhibition. Looking at many booths, I was impressed with modern agricultural equipment from other countries such as: fertilizer spreading planes, automatic irrigation systems, greenhouse technology…”, Mr. Ha said.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Tu - Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer of 2024 from Ba Ria - Vung Tau also visited and learned at this event. Mr. Tu's Chau Pha Cooperative specializes in providing leafy vegetables, fruits...
Mr. Tu hopes to find distributors and at the same time look for suitable technologies to apply to his cooperative.

“The trend of green agricultural production and clean products has become a must. In particular, we need new technologies and deep mechanization in the production process. I really want to learn many technologies and methods to be able to produce clean agricultural products, serving domestic consumption and aiming for export,” Mr. Tu shared.

According to the Organizing Committee, Hortex Vietnam 2025 attracted the participation of more than 303 exhibitors, nearly 400 brands from 30 countries and territories such as Austria, India, Belgium, Taiwan, Germany, Ecuador, Netherlands, Korea, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, USA, Japan, Pakistan, France, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, China, Australia, Vietnam, Italy... and national exhibition areas such as Germany, Netherlands, Korea, Japan, Philippines, China.
HortEx Vietnam 2025 will take place from March 12-14, 2025, and is expected to attract more than 15,000 trade visitors from 30 countries and territories.
There are booths here that allow visitors to try many unique fruits. Ms. Hoang Thi Chieu - a farmer in Dong Nai province said she just tried a type of "fruit chili".
"This type of chili looks very red on the outside and feels very spicy, but when I eat it, it tastes sweet. People say this is a fruit chili, which can be eaten every day and not used as a spice. This fruit is very unique, I have never experienced it before," Ms. Chieu commented.

HortEx Vietnam 2025 also welcomes delegations of businesses, cooperatives and agricultural producers from more than 16 provinces and cities in Vietnam such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Long An, Dak Lak, Tien Giang, Soc Trang, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Ben Tre, Thanh Hoa...
